Welcome to Adesso Occupational Health & Wellbeing!

 

Michelle is the founder and Managing Director of Adesso Occupational Health & Wellveing. She is an Occupational Health Expert (OHA), Registered General Nurse, and a qualified Life Coach. She has over 36 years of experience as a Registered GeneralNurse (RGN), 32 years have been specialising in Occupational Health. During this time she has worked as a General, Business and Academic English Language Tutor since 2015, having taught in the UK and Italy. She has also travelled and worked as a Tour Manager, escorting tourists and managing tours throughout the UK and Europe.

 

Since 2002 Michelle has worked with various businesses and industry:

  • Public Services - Police, Fire & Rescue, NHS and Ambulance Services

  • Local Government,

  • Probation Services,

  • Pharmaceutical Industry,

  • Education Services,

  • Commercial Services,

  • Manufacturing/Production Industry,

  • Engineering,

  • Retail/Food Industry,

  • Transport.

The ultimate aim to keep their employees healthy both physically and mentally, and by supporting them to have a better working relationship with their staff, through sickness absence referrals and management support. Providing a dedicated on-site or remote service, or short / long term OH Practitioner consultancy support.

 

Adesso Occupational Health supports small to medium enterprises (SME's) in the UK. and we are based in Bamber Bridge, Lancashire, UK.

 

We like to develop a personal and friendly approach, take the time to listen to what our customers need, and strive to offer sensible advice and support they can count on. We are very focused on offering exceptional customer service to your business and employees. Adesso believes in fostering long-term working relationships with our clients. We aim to build up an in-depth understanding of your organisation and any challenges you face.

 

Wherever possible, we will come to you. However, most assessments can be done via telephone and/or video call. You won’t have to waste valuable time travelling to and from meetings and appointments, causing lost time from work. This would reduce costs to yourselves by the business not having to give up an office for the Occupational Health Adviser on a regular basis. We find this service particularly cost effective for Sickness Absence Management, as not all referrals need to be seen face to face.

 

We understand that businesses have unique needs, so following the initial meeting with you and an Occupational Health needs audit, we will be able to build a bespoke package with affordable solutions. Traditional contracted services are offered - monthly and annual contracts,  as well pay-as-you-go, which are ideal for smaller companies with a limited budget. We also offer a Retained Service Agreement.

Adesso has partnered with other services that support us in providing an Occupational Health Service - OH Physician/Consultant (OHP), Occupational Health Advisers/Nurses (OHA), Occupational Health Technicians (OHT), Counselling and support, as well as and training providers. These Service Providers are carefully selected, professional and trusted.

 

We aim to bring you:

 

• A cost-effective service

• A prompt service, with reports available within 72 hours from the consultation. However, some are often available within 24 hours.

• A friendly and professional service, led and run by competent health professionals.

• A secure service complying with data protection/GDPR.
